Otto Gustav Adolf Kriens was a Dutch painter from Rijswijk. Born in The Hague on November 20, 1873, Kriens studied at the Academy of Art in The Hague and the Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels. He was a student of Eduard Willem Frederik, teacher of A.J. Zwart. He lived and worked after 1905 in Rijswijk and was a member of the Rijswijk United Artists. Kriens painted in a naturalistic-Impressionist style landscapes, still-lifes and figure-studies. He also worked as a draftsman, engraver, designer, decor and wall painter. He decorated interiors and painted murals for the RMS Titanic. His paintings hang in the Museum of Rijswijk, and in private collections.
